Oklahoma Region SCCA hosted its ninth event of the year on Sunday at Remington Park. A total of 44 drivers competed including six OMC members along with six other members attending to ride along. OMC members Harvie Austin (1995 GT) and Hunter Siler (2014 GT) competed in Novice class. Austin was able to finish with a best time of 44.018 for 5th in class. Hunter competing in her first event was able to better her time every run finishing with a best time of 48.639, a full 8 second improvement from her first run of 56.757. Zac Blocker (2016 GT350) and Greg Blocker (2014 GT) co-driving with Hunter competed in American Muscle class. Zac ended the day with a best time of 39.206 for 2nd in class and third overall fastest time of the event. Greg finished 5th in class with a best time of 43.700. OMC members Shawn and Jessalyn Adams co-drove their 2014 Fiesta in Tuner class. Shawn finished with a best time of 41.914 for 2nd in class and top twenty overall raw time. Jessalyn finished 5th in class with a best time of 42.388. Kent and Christopher Everett along with other Siler family members attended and rode along with OMC members competing. OMC members are welcome to come out! Bring a lawn chair and you can follow OMC drivers on your phone with live timing and scoring!
