HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Here it is!  2026 is here looks to be a great year for the Oklahoma Mustang Club!

First we have a newly elected Board of Directors.  They are as follows:  Allen King, president; Ron Hoeberling, vice-president; Deann King, Secretary; Charli Childers, Treasurer; Chuck Dunn, MCA Director; Rob Chapman, Board Member and Michael Dunbar, Board Member.

Next is of course our car shows.  This years shows start on Saturday May 9th at the Mustang Town Center, we’ll host another fundraiser car show.  We will once again give all the proceeds of the show to the Kiwanis of Mustang Food Bank.  Last year, we raised $1700 for the charity. The second car show of the year will once again be the Hot Summer Days at Certifit in OKC.  This show is always a participant favorite.  The third car show of 2026 will be on Saturday July 4th at the Yukon Park.  Last year the we donated $1800 to Helping Oklahoma Seniors as a result of this show’s proceeds.  And lastly, our biggest show of the year.  The Western Days Stampede held during the Western Days activities at Mustang Town Center.

If you follow the Oklahoma Mustang Club, you know we have tons of activities throughout the year.  Pony Drives, Cruise Ins, Activities, club meetings and After Meeting Meals to mention a few.  Thus far, we have all our club’s General Membership Meetings, BOD meetings, After Meeting Meals and Cruise In’s scheduled and posted.  We also have our many of our High Performance Driving Events posted and will soon post our 2026 Autocross schedule.  We have a couple very interesting Pony Drive coming up for 2026.  Onc will be a trip to see a very nice car collection in Mineral Wells Texas.  We will also do a trip to Tulsa and attend the Mustangs on the Mother Road, a National Mustang car show.  Our club will also be traveling to Missouri and Georgia for other national events.

Well, this is just a taste of what we will be doing this year.  We also have things like the gun range, bowling and wreath making activities that our members will enjoy.  We hope you will come out and join us!  And you like what you see, join our club!  Don’t have a Mustang, you don’t need one.  Just have a passion for the automobile.
