The Oklahoma Mustang Club is known for throwing a great party, and once again, they did not disappoint. With about 130 members, family and friends, they celebrated the past year, as well as tall tails of who has the better Mustang. As with the past 2 years, the president of the Mustang Club of America, Jeff Mays, along with Debbie Mays, joined us for the festivities. Jeff brought with him the club’s 4th President’s Award to present our club. MCA Director, Eric Tucker, accepted the award on behalf of the club. The award is presented to clubs that meet criteria set to recognize those clubs that help promote not only the Mustang, but the passion of the Mustang. And what’s a Christmas party if Santa doesn’t visit? Yes, we contacted Santa and asked if he could make a special early visit especially for our members. He said, Ho-Ho-Ho! Of course!! At the Christmas party we also announce the 3 winners of our elections for the Board Member of the Year, Appointee of the Year and the Member of the Year. We’d like to send our congratulations to Bruce Steele, Board Member of the Year; John Rigg, our Showchairman as the Appointee of the Year; and Randy Bratcher our Member of the Year. Next, the 2019 Board Member inauguration. Our 2019 Board members are: Allen King, President; Larry Sorenson, Vice President; Deann King, Secretary; Chuck and Kathy Foley, Treasurers; Bruce Steele, Board Member; and Beejay Precure Board Member. Lastly, door prizes!!! Each and every membership went home with something for them to remember the party with. A huge thanks to our Events Coordinator, Barbara Baird, and her committee, for all the decorations and organization that always makes our Christmas party enjoyable.
