CONTACT STOCKYARDCITY.ORG FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE PARADE.\n.\nContact our Parade Coordinator for information about meet up time and location and how join in and be apart of this annual parade event!\n.\nHere’s some info about the parade:\n.\nCome to Historic Stockyards City\, in Oklahoma City\, on Saturday\, March 14th for the annual St. Patrick’s Parade! It is a celebration of Oklahoma Irish heritage and the western culture of Stockyards City! This family friendly event begins at 10:00 a.m. You won’t want to miss this!\n.\nThe parade will be led by the Slash O Ranch Longhorns. You can see St. Patrick\, marching bands\, bagpipes\, Irish dancers\, the Shriners\, cool cars\, community groups\, equestrian entries and much more.\n.\nFollowing the parade hang around for some fun activities for kids. Balloon art\, face painting\, activities\, and games will be held in the grassy area east of Little Joe’s Boots.\n.\nAdmission to the event is free. Come to Stockyards City for the St. Pats fun and stay for the day! Visit the shops\, have a great meal\, and enjoy the authenticity of the area.\n.\nThe parade route begins at the intersection of Exchange Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue\, it will head west to Agnew Avenue and then go south to S.W. 15th Street.

DESCRIPTION:STOCKYARDS COWBOY CHRISTMAS PARADE\, OKLAHOMA CITY: \n\nThe OMC is signed up to participate in Stockyards Cowboy Christmas Parade on Saturday\, December 6th! The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. We are asking participants to sign-in between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to prepare for lineup. \n.\nThe OMC Parade Coordinator will check us in and receive our parade number.  We will not be arriving as a group. Tell them at check point that you are with the Oklahoma Mustang Club. Christmas Decorations for your car is optional\, but encouraged. The check-in location is at Lilyfield\, 1841 Exchange Avenue\, at the NE corner of Pennsylvania and Exchange Avenues. Restrooms will be available at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church. \n.\nThe parade will head west on Exchange to Agnew\, then South on Agnew towards S.W. 14th and S.W. 15th Street. Since tradition features our “Cowboy Santa” at the end of the parade\, we ask that NO Santas be at the parade. This way\, the children attending can fully welcome the appearance of “Cowboy Santa.”\nThrowing candy into the crowd is not allowed. However\, you are more than welcome to hand-out candy\, in an organized manner. This year\, Pake McEntire\, brother of Reba McEntire\, will be the parade’s grand Marshal. Pake is a country artist and accomplished steer roper. The parade will be led by the Slash O Ranch Longhorns\, which is sure to be an unforgettable sight. After the parade\, enjoy the festive atmosphere\, take a picture with Cowboy Santa\, shop the unique stores and grab a bite to eat. This wonderful Christmas celebration is sure to be a blast for the whole family.
