Here’s how they describe HST: High Speed Touring at Hallett is your chance to drive your car on a real road race course at an affordable cost.\n\nSo you’ve got a really neat performance car – vintage\, modern\, exotic or one of the many sporty performance tuner coupes and sedans that are in vogue. And maybe you frequently experience frustrations because you can never really open-up your car to the spirited driving for which you think you and your car are capable. Fear of traffic citations\, your reputation\, your wife/parents\, etc. keep your urge to drive at speed in check. Are you really wanting to be an on-track driver and not just a spectator\, but maybe not quite ready for wheel-to-wheel racing? Then the High Speed Touring Series is for YOU! It’s great fun for all motor heads AND you can afford it…read on . . .\n\nHST lets YOU\, at modest cost\, get lots of seat-time lapping\, AT SPEED\, in performance-oriented STREET CARS! It’s easy to qualify you and your car for HST lapping at the Hallett Circuit. Here’s the deal: You must become a member of Hallett High Speed Touring Club ($50 once a year). ANY street-legal car (except SUVs\, trucks\, wagons\, vans) can be used WITHOUT normal race prep…no roll cage\, no driving suit\, no prior competition driving experience are required for this non-race series.\nIf it is your first time to drive on the Hallett track in this HST series\, you are REQUIRED to sign up at least a week in advance and prepare for the Driver Education class ($50 one-time fee). We mail you an interactive high performance driving DVD to study. There will be a short exam at the track in the 8:30 a.m. DE required classroom. You will be required to complete a tech sheet\, which we spot check at the track when you arrive.\n\nShow up at the Hallett Tower\, first floor\, at 7:15am. the day you have entered (The spots are often sold out before the event\, so do not delay in sending in the entry form\, linked below). All HST drivers are required to attend the 9:00 HST meeting. You must have factory seatbelts\, wear a Snell approved safety helmet (rentals are available) and you must wear a long- sleeve shirt and long pants while you drive on track. You’ll get FIVE 15-minute on-track sessions per event day for around $175.00 (a super bargain for any major road racing course). In the DE program you also meet with instructors between sessions.\nThat’s it…MAX FUN – DRIVE YOUR DREAM!

The Missouri-based international track has several layouts\, but the longest configuration truly shows what this facility is about with its 19 thrilling corners and a 150 feet elevation difference throughout the lap and 1200 feet elevation change over a single lap.\nThe other configurations include an outside track of 2.5 miles course and an inside track of 1.4-mile track. These are ideal for Racing Schools or clients renting the track for their events.\nThe goal of this track was to provide a safe and fun place to racing enthusiasts\, all the while preserving nature around. The Ozarks being a mountainous region\, the primary architect of this layout was the lay of the land\, paired with JR Pesek’s vision and Multimatic’s knowledge; this new facility quickly attracted the attention of the biggest series in North America.\nWith the Race Control built to modern standards and a turkey barn turned into a 60-car garage\, OIR’s facilities cater to the highest motorsports series standards in North America. The track’s five-year plan is to have IndyCar\, NASCAR\, IMSA and SRO amongst its visitors.\nJR Pesek’s vision was to build a world-class facility that could easily be a destination for the whole family. OIR is 2 hours from Kansas City and 3 hours from Saint-Louis. Just a few miles from the track\, teams\, clients and partners can lodge at the luxurious resort of the Four Seasons hotel\, one of the many up-scale resorts in the area\, or in Osage Beach\, where you can find countless shops\, hotels\, restaurants\, golf courses\, vineyards\, etc.\nAside from being an excellent venue for spectators\, OIR will be a 654-acres playground for thrill-seeking enthusiasts. Over the next few years\, the track will have; a rally and off-road course\, condos\, team houses and cabins\, a clubhouse\, a drift pad and a Racing School.\nThe goal of the Racing School is to be the stepping stone to PF Racing\, a premier Endurance Team competing in IMSA and occasionally SRO\, and create a ladder system from motorsports entry into top-level GT4 and GT3 endurance racing in North America.

DESCRIPTION:OZARKS INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY\, GRAVOIS MILLS\, MO:\n\nLOCATION: Gravois Mills\, MO\n.\nCOST: $640 for 2 day event (MCA members\, $690 non-MCA members)\n.\nHOST ORGANIZATION: Mustang Club of America\n.\nTRACK LENGTH: 3.97 mile (combined tracks) track with 19 turns\n.\nGARAGES: $100/day\n.\nLODGING: One LOW COST option is Lake House Inn in Laurie\, 573.374.7744\n.\nREGISTRATION: https://www.motorsportreg.com/…/memorial-weekend-hpde…\n.\nMORE INFORMATION ABOUT OIR:\n.\nOzarks International Raceway is a 3.97 miles state-of-the-art facility at the heart of the Ozarks. The Missouri-based international track has several layouts\, but the longest configuration truly shows what this facility is about with its 19 thrilling corners and a 150 feet elevation difference throughout the lap and 1200 feet elevation change over a single lap.\n\nThe other configurations include an outside track of 2.5 miles course and an inside track of 1.4-mile track. These are ideal for Racing Schools or clients renting the track for their events. \nThe goal of this track was to provide a safe and fun place to racing enthusiasts\, all the while preserving nature around. The Ozarks being a mountainous region\, the primary architect of this layout was the lay of the land\, paired with Jr Pesek’s vision and Multimatic’s knowledge; this new facility quickly attracted the attention of the biggest series in North America. \nWith the Race Control built to modern standards and a turkey barn turned into a 60-car garage\, OIR’s facilities cater to the highest motorsports series standards in North America. The track’s five-year plan is to have IndyCar\, NASCAR\, IMSA and SRO amongst its visitors. \nJr Pesek’s vision was to build a world-class facility that could easily be a destination for the whole family. OIR is 2 hours from Kansas City and 3 hours from Saint-Louis. Just a few miles from the track\, teams\, clients and partners can lodge at the luxurious resort of the Four Seasons hotel\, one of the many up-scale resorts in the area\, or in Osage Beach\, where you can find countless shops\, hotels\, restaurants\, golf courses\, vineyards\, etc. \nAside from being an excellent venue for spectators\, OIR will be a 654-acres playground for thrill-seeking enthusiasts. Over the next few years\, the track will have; a rally and off-road course\, condos\, team houses and cabins\, a clubhouse\, a drift pad and a Racing School. \nThe goal of the Racing School is to be the stepping stone to PF Racing\, a premier Endurance Team competing in IMSA and occasionally SRO\, and create a ladder system from motorsports entry into top-level GT4 and GT3 endurance racing in North America.
