2025 Kiwanis of Mustang Food Bank Fundraiser

.

The Oklahoma Mustang Club (OMC) has teamed up with the Kiwanis of Mustang for a fundraiser car show.  On May 10th, the OMC will host a car show at the Mustang Town Center to raise money for our local food bank.  We hope to raise several thousand dollars to support those in the Mustang area with the food that so many need.  Any type of vehicle is welcome!  Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles…. anything!

Here’s a link to register for the event.

According to their website, the Kiwanis International sponsors “Worldwide Service Projects” (WSP’s). These projects are global in nature and address specific needs in, usually, developing countries. Each Kiwanis club supports these projects at their discretion. The Mustang Kiwanis Club has vowed full support to the Kiwanis International WSP’s. In addition, we participate in the following local projects:

  • A Community Food Bank which is available year-around to those in need
  • Community “Crime-Stoppers” Program
  • Club sponsorship of TWO Middle School “Builders Clubs” and a High School “KEY” Club so that our youth can participate in Community Service
  • Club sponsorship of the Mustang Kiwanis Terrific Kids
  • Academic Scholarships to Qualifying Youth
  • A “Kiwanis Community Garden”
  • Special Olympics
  •  Salvation Army “Bell Ringing” at Christmas
  • Mustang Bronco Booster Club
  • The Children’s Miracle Network and the Children’s Hospital Research Foundation
  • Boys State of Oklahoma
  • Participation in the Mustang Community “Spooktacular” for a safe Halloween
  • Participation in “Habitat For Humanity” to build affordable housing for those in need
  • Participation in the “Oklahoma Ramps Project” (wheel chair ramp construction)
  • Support of Mustang’s “Birth Choice” for young women
  • Support of “Project Graduation” for a safe high school Senior graduation party
  • “Visions of Vision” Project (glasses for school kids)

Along with these many local causes, we are going to help raise money for the FOOD BANK.  Please come out and support our show to help our community.
