This is the pinnacle of all tracks! They don't get any better. Circuits of the Americas is in Austin Texas also hosts a F1 car race each year. I, along with several other OMC members, had the opportunity to run on this track in October. It was VERY exhilarating. Here's my first time out on the track. We got faster as the weekend went on.

OMC ROAD RACERS GO TO AUSTIN, TEXAS AND THE CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS!

This is the pinnacle of all tracks! They don’t get any better. Circuit of the Americas is in Austin Texas also hosts a F1 car race each year. Several OMC members Fred and Theresa Marshal, Larry Elliott, Scott McMurran and club president Allen King had the opportunity to run on this track in October. It was VERY exhilarating. Here’s a video of the first time our club president went out on the track. We were told they got much faster as the weekend went on!  We do love our car shows, cruise-ins, drag racing, autocross events as well as the multitude of other things we do.  Check out all our events on our EVENT calendar or on our Facebook page, Oklahoma Mustang Club.

 

Circuit of the Americas. This is not fastest lap because in the excitement I failed to turn on my cameras. My fastest lap was 2:39:61 early Sunday Morning and I was consistently around the 2:40:00 mark. Virtual fast last was 2:38:84. After watching the videos I see quite a few areas I could have much faster. It was great fun.
