It was a bit of a warm day but it still brought out lots of cool cars and trucks here at Certifit in Oklahoma City. With temperatures predicted to be near 100 degrees, we still had ton’s of folks showing off some of the area’s best cars! The show was scheduled from 8am – 2pm. Cars started rolling in at 6:45am, but our club members were there to assist them with parking and registering our early participants. One of the special parts of the show were the special awards. There were 3 awards selected by the sponsor, Certifit, two awards selected by our charity, ABLE, then there was the OMC Presidents Choice. Just as the judging began, the cloud cover gave way and the heat started to roll in. So, our OMC sped things up and were able to get the awards presented an hour and a half early. A special thanks to those folks in the talley room for getting this done. Putting on one of these shows takes a lot of planning and work. We want to thank our nearly 20 OMC members that volunteered their time to make this show the success it was, as well as our Show Chairman John Rigg. And we want to send a VERY special thanks to all those participants that came out to support the show. Next up! Stampede car show in Mustang on September 8th.
