Oklahoma is experiencing flooding on a scale this state has never seen. As we hope all our members are safe, and their Mustangs are dry, we couldn’t help but contemplate the picture of this submarine in all this brown water. In itself, it’s just a submarine in water. Nothing abnormal about that. However, in August of 2017 our club did a Pony Drive to the Muskogee War Memorial Park: Home of the USS Batfish. It is a war memorial that is NORMALLY on dry land. The curator of the museum was kind enough to allow us to take pictures up close to the USS Batfish. We hope that this piece of history survives and will be there for generations to come to enjoy.
