DESCRIPTION:TRICKY PERFORMANCE\, MUSTANG: Once again\, we will be offering our club members a dyno day to test our their cars\, or trucks\, to determine the horsepower and torque their vehicles produce. \nSo\, what’s a dyno:  A dynamometer\, or “dyno” for short\, is a device for measuring force\, moment of force (torque)\, or power. For example\, the power produced by an engine\, motor or other rotating prime mover can be calculated by simultaneously measuring torque and rotational speed (rpm) \nIn this case\, they back your vehicle onto the dyno\, strap it down\, make some connections and run it to redline a couple of times.  Its a great thing to do if you’re considering mods\, or have had mods done to your car. \nFor $50\, you’ll receive 3 pulls\, and a printout of your vehicles performance.  If you stick around to watch some of the other cars\, you might want to bring some ear plugs.  It gets REALLY loud! \nFor you dyno folks\, Trick Performance uses a  DynoJet 224X dynamometer.

DESCRIPTION:PAINT YOUR ART OUT\, EDMOND:   DINNER and PAINTING!! \n\nDinner will be at the Los Arcos\, a mexican restaurant in Edmond in Bryant Square (1718 E 2nd St\, Edmond\, OK 73034) at 5:00 pm. We have the ability to change the reservations + or – until March 6th. We have to tell both the restaurant and the Painting place the # attending on Thursday March 5th.\n\n\n \n\n\nMembers do not have to eat to paint or visa versa. You get it…\n\n\n \n\n\nThe painting time is 6:45-10:00. It’s a three hour class because there is a break in the middle to allow the painting to dry before the next layer of shading is added. At that time I/the club can take in snacks to munch on while we visit. (Not likely for those that went to dinner)\n\n\n \n\n\nThe cost to paint is $35. DESCRIPTION:SHORTY SMALLS-OKC: On the second Tuesday of each month\, the OMC has a Cruise In where we meet at a local restaurant to enjoy good food\, friends and talk Mustangs!\n\n\n \n\n\nWe go to places that have lots of parking and great food on the menu. We also go to places that has lots of room for a group our size to meet. We usually have between 30-60 people come out and the parking lot looks like a Mustang car show!\n\n\n \n\n\nWe are a family club\, so if you want to bring the kids\, by all means. And if you want to bring a friend\, we’d love to meet them too. So come on out and enjoy a meal with other car lovers! We’ll see you there at 6:30 pm! We hope you can come out and join us!

DESCRIPTION:HALLETT MOTOR RACING CIRCUIT-HALLETT\, OK: If you’re interested in coming out to a road course to test your skills and your cars abilities\, then this event is for you! Hallett refers to their High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) events as High Speed Touring (HST). \nHallett Motor Racing Circuit is a 1.8 mile\, 10 turn Road Racing course in the rolling Osage Hills of North Eastern Oklahoma. It is located 35 miles west of Tulsa\, Oklahoma\, at the Highway 99 exit of the Cimarron Turnpike. From Oklahoma City\, it’s about an 1 1/2 drive to the raceway. You do not have to own a Mustang or be a skilled driver to do these events. \nIf it’s your first time\, you MUST sign up a week prior to the event an attend the 8am Driver’s Education meeting. Just go to the link provided below and find the HPDE date and get your account setup. \nIf this is your 1st Hallett event of the year\, your car must complete a tech inspection form. You can view that tech form at this link: http://www.hallettracing.net/sites/hallett/uploads/documents/Forms/Tech_Inspection_form.pdf \nOMC members will be we will be meeting at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit at 7:30 am. So please plan your departure time accordingly. \nSNELL 2015 rated helmets are required and will be inspected upon arrival. Motorcycle helmets are not allowed. DESCRIPTION:MUSTANG TOWN CENTER-MUSTANG: The OMC’s monthly meeting is held at the MUSTANG TOWN CENTER in the GREAT ROOM.   You can enter the GREAT ROOM from the west entrance\, which is on the back side of the Town Center.  There is a dedicated entrance to the GREAT ROOM.  We usually have about 50 – 80 members and guests attend.  We will also have OMC shirts and other OMC related things for sale from our Club Store at the meeting.  We discuss club business and usually have a “garage session” (information about your Mustang).  When you walk through the parking lot\, you’ll swear you were at a car show with all the beautiful Mustangs parked outside.  At the conclusion of the meeting\, we go to a local Mustang restaurant for an After Meeting Meal.  So come out and chat with your fellow Mustang’ers and find out what’s going on in the world of Mustangs!  We will see you there!
