SUMMARY:Pony Drive
DESCRIPTION:MEET LOCATION AND TIME: 7-Eleven\, 1711 W State Hwy 152\, Mustang (West side\, corner of SH92/SH152). Meet at 9 am; depart at 9:30 am. Our lunch place will be at Lucille’s in Weatherford. This is about a 1 ½ hour drive to Weatherford. \nDURING THE DRIVE: \n1. Keep your headlights on for safety and to let traffic know where our last car is. \n2. Keep the gap between cars no more than 3-4 car lengths \n3. Please\, no racing or driving irresponsibly. \n4. If you have OMC magnets\, please display them on your car during the pony drive. \nDIRECTIONS TO THE DESTINATION: Stafford Air and Space Museum\, 3000 Logan Rd\, Weatherford\, Oklahoma 73096\, (580) 772-5871 \nA. Travel WEST on SH152 to Union City. \nB. In Union City\, turn SOUTH (LEFT) on SH81/152 to SH152. \nC. On SH152 travel WEST through Cogar and Binger to Eakly. \nD. Travel NORTH (RIGHT) on SH58 to Old Route 66. \nE. Turn left (WEST) on Old Route 66 to Logan Road. \nF. Turn right (NORTH) on Logan Road to 3000 Logan Road. You’ve arrived at the Museum! \nWe will take several hours to go through the museum and meet up at Lucille’s Roadhouse at 1 pm. \nDIRECTIONS TO LUCILLE’S: Lucille’s Roadhouse is located at 1301 N Airport Rd\, Weatherford\, OK 73096\, (580) 772-8808\, just EAST of the airport via Old Route 66. (See Map #2) \nDIRECTIONS BACK TO OKC: Typically\, members will return to the City\, or their home town\, as they complete their visit at the destination. As some members like to spend more or less time at the destination so we don’t usually Pony Drive home. However\, several of you may want to cruise back as a group.
