Forgotten Wheels museum and Antiques:
For our August 15th Pony Drive we will stop by Forgotten Wheels Museum and Antiques, Davis Ok. meet Tom and Sandra Webb and take time to visit a while. Sandra has the Antique Shop and working pedal sewing machines that she lets visitors actually experience the pedal machine. Tom has an impressive collection of “History of Wheels” including a teal 56 Chevy half-ton pickup that Grandpa Webb bought new.
What started as a fascination with vintage Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, has morphed into a love of antique wheels of all kinds. Forgotten Wheels Museum is now a collection of historical items, some on two wheels, some on four wheels, most relating to motorcycles…or those that love them.
Smokin’ Joe’s Rib Ranch:
Joe Wells started Smokin’ Joe’s Rib Ranch back in the day, as part-time project ran out of a gas station. With the addition of son Courtney and his wife, Bobby Jo, Smokin’ Joe’s has grown into the most popular BBQ place around. Producing legendary barbecue folks come from all over to eat at this unique eatery. Just to wet your appetite the Wells family smokes their legendary meats all day, everyday over hickory to keep up with the significant demand. The first of three batches of ribs start out at 7:00 am, so they are turned out all day. One diner described their BBQ as “slap yo mama good!”
