Meers Store and Restaurant

MEET LOCATION AND TIME:  We will be cruising to the Meers Store and Restaurant in Meers and then into the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge to tour the Visitor Center. We should be there as they are opening. We will meet at On Cue at 8:30 am. We will leave the MUSTANG On Cue at 9:00 am. We should arrive at the restaurant around 1100. After eating lunch, we will head into the refuge.

DURING THE DRIVE:

1. Keep your headlights on for safety and to let traffic know where our last car is.
2. Keep the gap between cars no more than 3-4 car lengths
3. No racing or driving irresponsibly.
4. If you have OMC magnets, please display them on your car during the pony drive.

DIRECTIONS TO THE DESTINATION:  On Cue– 900 E State Hwy 152, Mustang, OK 73064

Meers Store and Restaurant– 26005 OK-115, Meers, OK 73057

Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center

– OK-49 #49, Lawton, OK 73507

1. Turn left out of On Cue and go 7.1 miles
2. Turn right onto OK 37 W and go 13 miles
3. Turn right onto US 81 and go 1.8 miles
4. Turn left onto US 152 and go 53.4 miles
5. Turn left onto US 54 and go 27.8 miles
6. Turn left onto US 19 and go 9 miles
7. Turn right onto US 115 and go 14 miles.
8. Meers Store and Restaurant will be on the right.

1. Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center
2. Head southeast on OK-115 S for 3.4 mi
3. Turn right onto OK-115 S/OK-49 W, follow for 3.1 mi
4. Turn right into parking lot

DIRECTIONS BACK TO OKC – Typically, members will return home as they complete their visit at the destination.  As some members like to spend more or less time at the destination, we don’t usually Pony Drive home.  You can go back the way we came or head East out of the park to get to I44 and head East back to the Metro..
