MEET UP LOCATION/TIME: Rudy’s Country Store & Bar-B-Q, 3450 Chautauqua
Ave, Norman, at 8:00am and depart 8:30am. Lunch will be on site at the Aaimpa Cafe
DURING THE DRIVE:
- Keep your headlights on for safety and to let traffic know where our last car is.
- Keep the gap between cars no more than 3-4 car lengths
- Absolutely no racing or driving irresponsibly.
- If you have OMC magnets, please display on your car during the pony drive.
- We will use ZELLO, OMC Pony Drive Group Channel, to communicate with.
DIRECTIONS TO THE DESTINATION: 867 Charles Cooper Memorial Rd, Sulphur (580)622-7130
- Leave Rudy’s and turn right (EAST) on SH9.
- Turn right (SOUTH) on 12TH Ave SE.
- Turn left (EAST) on E Cedar Lane Road.
- Turn right (SOUTH) on Classen Blvd/SH77.
- Follow SH77 South through Noble and Slaughterville.
- North of Lexington turn left (EAST) on Moffatt Rd.
- Turn right (SOUTH) ON 84TH St. to E Broadway Street (SH39)
- Turn left (EAST) on SH39. Follow SH39 to SH177 in Asher.
- Pit Stop: Quick Stop off SH177 in Asher.
- Turn right (SOUTH) on SH177 through Strafford.
- Turn right on Chickasaw Turnpike (SH7). Exit on W Broadway Street (SH7)
- Turn right (EAST) on SH7 to Charles Cooper Memorial Road.
- Turn right (SOUTH) on Charles Cooper Memorial Road to Chickasaw Cultural Center
DIRECTIONS TO LUNCH: Lunch will be at the Chickasaw Culture Center, Aaimpa Cafe.
CHOCOLATE BREAK: Bedre’s Chocolate’s, 37 N Colbert Drive
A. Go back to SH7, turn right (WEST) on SH7.
B. Follow SH7 to I35. Just west of I35, turn left (SOUTH) on N Colvert Drive.
DIRECTIONS BACK TO OKC: Typically, members will return to the City, or their home town, as they complete their visit at the destination. As some members like to spend more or less time at the destination so we don’t usually Pony Drive home. However, several of you may want to cruise back as a group. With this Pony Drive the quickest route back is to go I35 north back to the city.
