Did you know? Here are some facts about 2018: 132 events last year, 7 cancelled due to weather. We went bowling 3 times, attended a Bullitt movie, Murder Mystery theater, organized a Meet & Greet for the Bullitt group passing through OK, went to the zoo and drive-in, conducted our first ever HPDE driver’s training class, had several dyno days, worked another Leake Auto Auction, did our last ever 3 Pole Positions (they’ve closed), had drag racing, road racing and autocross event every month from March through October (sometime multiple events in a month), 4 car shows, parades, cruise ins, pony drives, and many more things. And one non-OMC person told me when they were thinking of joining, “you sure do a lot of stuff”. Why yes, yes we do! And we couldn’t do it if it wasn’t for the commitment of our staff of appointees and board members.
2019? It looks like we’re going to be just as busy! We still have a few appointee positions open and we’ll post them in The Tails, our weekly email to our members. And, if you’re not a member, you’re welcome to come out and join in. We have only a few events during the year that are member’s only events. Come play with us! We’ll have many more events and activities for everyone in 2019!
